Welcome To Billa Villa
Billa Villa is a purpose built beach house designed and built by renowned architect Robert Cottee of Cottee Parker Architects www.cotteeparker.com.au. It was purchased off Cottee by the current owner in 1997. A complete refurbishment was conducted in 2006.
This well designed beach house has a host of benefits to the holiday maker and it is no surprise people keep coming back.
The design is absolutely superb, like a big beach tent, and feels like you are camping out with the huge verandahs and surrounding trees. The house captures the sea breezes well.
In purchasing the house the
owners looked at the two
fundamental options:
- Tramican St with the views
- Near the beach.
Whilst Tramican St has views it has a major disadvantage in that every visit to the beach requires a car and a parking spot which is getting progressively more difficult at peak periods.
At Billa Villa you just put on your swimmers and thongs and walk to the beach and walk home, back for a downstairs shower and all done! You can swim several times a day and don't even need to take a towel! As for going to the pub for a drink or lunch/dinner it's only a 2 minute walk.
Billa Villa is set on a sloped block with rain forest garden and has absolute privacy from all angles. There are lovely bush and water views from the whale watch tower.
